Peaceful Home Inspections is an Indiana state licensed company that serves the greater Indianapolis area including but not limited to such counties as Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam, and Shelby.

Our mission is to provide peace of mind for our clients by performing quality and comprehensive home inspections. We seek to describe to our clients what services we perform, evaluate each section of the property inspected according to Indiana standards of practice, and give direction to them in response to our findings.

About the Owner

Jay Bailey is the owner of Peaceful Home Inspections, LLC. Jay completed over 160 hours of training through American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT) and received his Indiana state license for home inspectors.

Jay earned a B.A. in Entomology (the study of insects) from Purdue University and has worked in the Pest Control industry for 3.5 years. He is a proud father of two and loving husband to his wife, Kelley.

What We Do

  • A Federal Pacific Electric Stab-Lock Panel. There have been multiple reports of electrical hazards with these panels.

  • Improperly exhausted dryer vent. This dryer exhaust was directly installed in the attic instead of to the exterior of the property.

  • A disconnected downspout extension can dump a lot of water near the foundation wall.

  • Chimney cricket/saddle that helps prevent debris from building up behind the chimney chase.

  • Intake and exhaust pipes to a high efficiency furnace.

  • A whole house fan.
